PeRI Bandung at Bali Expo 2011

Form 17 to 19 October 2011 Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held an event called BALI EXPO 2011. PeRI was invited to the event and we display our paper model that show Bali culture. In this event we are represented by Dani Hamdani from PeRI Bandung and the models are Legong Dancer by Julius Perdana and Rangda and Barong paper toy by Faisal Azad.

PeRI Malang at Papertoys, Book and Techno festival 2011

 

Meet Muhammad Alvian Ghurry from PeRI Malang that helped to spread papercraft virus at his hometown, Semarang. From 10 till 12 October 2011 along with Politeknik Negeri Malang and co sponsored by MATOS (Malang Town Square),TOGAMAS,  TISERA and ELFARA FM., he opened a papercraft booth representing PeRI at Papertoys, Book and Techno Festival 2011 located in Malang Town Square. I took my hat off for this guy who single hand took the courage to represent PeRI during the event. And below you can see some of the picture during the event, all courtesy by him.

PeRI at Battle of Toys

The above picture shows some of PeRI finished paper model from Star War genre that displayed during Battle of Toys event in FX Place Senayan Jakarta from 6th to 9th October 2011. One of our member, also the member of Sith 666 that opened a booth during the event, so some of our paper model showed up there during the event.

GP03 Dendrobium Stamen Paper Model

In the Universal Century time line from Mobile Suit Gundam universe there is one of the most fearful Mobile Suit Armor ever deployed in the space battle field. It's name was GP03D Dendrobium Stamen/Orchis. If you want to built this model in HG (High Grade) plastic model from Bandai, well you can prepare your self for more than 3 million rupiahs (or around USD 400) . And that's a very expensive prices, not including all the paint and base after you built the plastic model.

Or you can simply built it in paper model form, and I have just the proper link provided by gunime.blogspot.com in here. So how about that for a nice bargain indeed, and I can assure you this model will cost lower than previous plastic model that I mention earlier. So do please enjoy and have fun while building it.

On October 1st 2011, PeRI have been invited by International Design School (IDS) to attend "Motivakids". An event that will help parents to develop their kids creativity.
