PeRI Jabodetabek in Media Indonesia

Just a quick update on media coverage about PeRI Jabodetabek activity. Along with Ruang Antho, Rauf and many other PeRI members Media Indonesia held an interview at Tribeca,Central Park Mall some times during yesterday lunch. And on July 13th 2012 edition we got a nice little article on our community activities and hopefully this will bring more people to realize this wonderful hobby. Our fellow paper modeller in PeRI Jogya collaborate with Dyandra at Festival Komputer Indonesia (FKI) 2012 from June 9th till 13th at Jogyakarta. They held a booth and Papercraft Building Contest. All these images below are as per Anis Narmantika credit.

Photo Report : PeRI at ITB Hotaru Fair 2012

On June 2nd 2012, PeRI Bandung had a booth on ITB Hotaru Fair. At this event we displayed some of our completed paper models and by giving a special papercraft workshop for the visitor. Here are below are some of the photos taken during the event, courtesy of Dani Hamdani from PeRI Bandung.

Photo Report : PeRI @ Nirmanaawards 2012

On Saturday May 26th 2012, I visited PeRI booth at Nirmanaawards 2012 on FX Senayan. This event held to encourage young Indonesian to enlist their design and boost their creativity. And our community have been invited due to our creativity regarding to design and build the paper model. Actually the event held from Friday to Saturday, but I only have the time to visited it on Saturday after my working hours at the office.

These two photos are about our free coaching clinic held to invite visitor to make their own paper toy.

Iron Man designed and built by Rino Liha (sadly it's a scratch build ) and War Machine designed by Julius Perdana and built by Rauf Raphanus. PERI Bandung Mini Gathering

Next week after PPKI 2011 on July 16th 2011, PeRI Bandung held their mini gathering at Simpang Dago area in Bandung. The member that did not get taken the pictures are Hafidz ,Idham adn Andjar. On the gathering they talked about their future event on ROCKHOUSE Community 2011 and AIESEC Cultural Camp both on July 23rd 2011.

Salute for PeRI Bandung for their effort on spreading papercraft virus. For the photo report of the event just wait on my blog, cause Gilang already promised me to share the photos of the event.

Photo Report : PERI @ PPKI (Pekan Produk Kreatif Indonesia ) 2011

On July 9th 2011, the last day of PPKI 2011 located on JCC Senayan Jakarta. Salazad.com was invited to make a Paper Toy workshop. So PERI Jabodetabek and Bandung  had a little gathering during and after workshop. Here are some photos taken by me and Adyputra.

PERI Gathering : Mass Build Paper Toy

At Julius home @ Gandul PERI held its annual gathering on February 5th 2011. In this gathering we also helped our friend Yudhi H.S. on his upcoming marriage celebration by doing mass build paper toy of he and his future wife customized by Faisal Azad. You can see the above picture for the paper toy. He will make about 600 pair as marriage souvenir.

BINUS TV Interview : Warna Warni Show

On February 5th 2011 together with PERI Gathering @ Julius home in Gandul, we got a TV interview from BINUS TV for their community show Warna Warni. It was a long interview, they talked to me and Rino as PERI representation and as always they shoot lot of paper model and also shoot Roy in action by building paper toy. BINUS TV is a free Internet TV streaming  that you can access on www.binus.tv . Hopefully many BINUSIAN will follow our hobby after they watch this show.

PERI Gathering @ Solaria Sky Dining Plaza Semanggi

 

It's almost a year from our first gathering back in September 2009 at Plaza Semanggi Food Court. So PERI Jabodetabek gathered again to refreshed their mind and to share some new tips and tricks in paper model design and building. On August 7th 2010 we gathered in Solaria Sky Dining at 10th floor at top of Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta. It was fun, because this gathering we don't have to discuss about event or exhibition. So it just a fun gathering and we can have a lot to discuss, especially the upcoming one year of our community. But it does really made me surprise that one year ago we established this community and right now PERI had already member from many cities around Indonesia.
The theme for this gathering is MILITARY paper model,many member including myself brought their models. And the star of this gathering was Jules 1:1 scale SVD Sniper Rifle. It was made by Rauf and as by the picture above held by Bobby, another military freak in our forum. But I wasn't be able to attend the gathering till the end, because I have to go to my family in Bandung. So in the last picture I didn't appeared.

PeRI Jogya 1st Gathering

Also in January 30th, our friend from PeRI Jogya District had their first Gathering. This gathering was organized by Wisnu Setioko and from the picture above there are many member who can attend the Gathering. The gathering location was in Amplaz Foodcourt. The picture above goes to Wisnu credit. Hopefully many city all over Indonesia will have gathering like this. As far as I know Semarang already had their gathering too but unfortunately they didn't share their pictures in the forum.
